The Wonder Festival, short Wonfes, Japan’s pioneer among otaku festivals reaching 34 years in history, allows professionals as well as amateurs to exhibit and sell self-produced figure model kits.
It’s not only about figurines, fans can see their favourite voice actors and other talents live on stage, show off their cosplays or participate in various workshops ー an event nearly impossible to fully enjoy at a single day.
The Wonder Festival is held twice a year, in February and in July, and takes place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba prefecture.
