Asakura Gallery World
This shocking pink house really stands out in the residential neighbourhood of Nishihokima, Adachi. This is the home and gallery of artist Shuhei Tsuji. If you look inside, the rooms are as pink as the exterior. Everything from the floor to the ceiling is covered in paintings and sculptures created by Tsuji, including the bathroom and rooftop which you are free to look at. There are many depictions of wide-eyed girls influenced by the style of Japanese anime , and many versions of the striking ‘Toketsu Baby’ on display. Most of the works are available for purchase, as well as the house which can be bought for 60 million yen.
