Tokyo Girls Collection is Japan’s biggest fashion festival, taking place twice a year during spring and autumn, with its first show held in August 2005. Its 26th edition attracted 32,200 curious visitors, and over a million people followed the livestream. TGC is not an event exclusive for fashion world insiders: everyone can join. One of the best things is that you can directly purchase items shown during the event. This year’s spring edition revolved around the theme of ‘be yourself’, and the event aims to spread Japan’s unique girl culture worldwide.
