Under the concept of the ‘justification of deterioration’, Shoetree ‘repairs’ outworn sneakers with moss and restyles them as decorative flower pots. The idea for the deteriorated appearance came from plant roots stretching across ruins of moss-covered old buildings. Their aim is to create a mysterious harmony between shoe and nature, as if both elements become one, while maintaining the original look of the footwear.
