Nihonbashi is famous for its cherry blossoms. Since a long time ago, people celebrate the arrival of spring while appreciating sakura. The Nihonbashi Sakura Festival makes use of this historical background and provides a new way of hanami (cherry blossom viewing) by using modern elements such as digital art. During the festival, about 190 restaurants offer a special menu with sakura-themed dishes and Nihonbashi’s long-established stores sell limited goods. Enjoy this new sensation of cherry blossom viewing.
