The 43rd edition of the Kecak Festival was held this year, an annual festival that is held in the bustling urban area of Shinjuku. There are performances of various ‘ethnic’ instruments, while the big highlight comes at dusk, when the people performing the Balinese kecak dance will transport you (and themselves) to another world. This festival that learnt ‘the art of bonding’ through various indigenous communities from across the world, which lead to creating communities and building character, is now a hot topic.
