Kakimori is a specialty stationery store in Kuramae,Tokyo selling made-to-order notebooks which are popular in Japan as well as overseas. Kakimori was opened in Kuramae back in 2010 by Takuma Hirose. The idea behind the store was to have a place where customers could custom-design their own notebook and custom-make their own ink, which would in turn enhance the handwriting experience.
In addition, Kakimori distributes a 'Kuramae Walking Map' at the shop front to deepen the connection between the visiting customer and the neighborhood (because of the limited number of maps, please refrain from taking more than one per person).
