Cherry blossom trees along the river banks are popular sakura spots in Tokyo’s shitamachi (old downtown) area. Get on board and enjoy the unique scenery of the pink petals while the warm spring breeze ripples across the water.
Oyoko River is picturesquely framed by cherry blossom trees, which makes for a charming view of pastel pink branches nearly touching the water surface. During sakura festival season, enjoy a pleasant ride in one of the traditional wooden Japanese rowing boats.
