Kappabashi, found close to Tawaramachi Station in between Ueno and Asakusa, is also known as ‘Kitchen Town’. It’s home to around 170 shops specialising in all kinds of cooking utensils.
Here, you can find all the kitchenware needed for cooking Japanese food – including the special frying pan used to make tamagoyaki omelette, a classic breakfast dish.
